Proposal Submission Form<\/a><\/p>\n

The deadline for submitting proposals is October 17, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

TAIR is a space for Institutional Research professionals to share insights, sharpen presentation skills, and connect with colleagues across the state. We invite you to submit a proposal for the 2026 TAIR Annual Conference.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Proposals can cover a wide range of topics\u2014tools, methods, challenges, innovations, and practical strategies in IR and Effectiveness. Whether you’re new to the field or a seasoned presenter, we welcome your voice and perspective.<\/p>\n

\n

Session Tracks<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Operations & Leadership – <\/strong>Focuses on the organization and management of Institutional Research offices and functions. Sample topics include tracking requests, organizing and archiving past studies, staffing, resources, and relationships with other operational areas.<\/p>\n

Plan & Evaluate – <\/strong>Includes implementing assessment programs, goal setting and measuring, novel assessment ideas, accreditation topics, and program review.<\/p>\n

Collect, Analyze, Interpret & Report – <\/strong>Emphasis is on tools, methods, and sources used for internal\/external reporting, dashboards, and decision support systems.<\/p>\n

Stewards of Data & Information – <\/strong>Deals with issues related to data accuracy, integrity, security, and institutional data strategy; data warehousing; decision support.<\/p>\n

Educate Information Producers, Users, & Consumers – <\/strong>Demonstrates ways of training on the use of data and information to inform decision-making and includes a discussion of ways to collaborate with other stakeholder groups.<\/p>\n

Current Issues & Research in Higher Education – <\/strong>Provides details on contemporary topics and research within higher education.<\/p>\n

\n

Session Formats<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Speaker Session<\/strong> \u2013 A 45-minute session with one or more presenters, including a Question and Answer segment.<\/p>\n

Discussion Session<\/strong> \u2013 A 45-minute, moderated session focusing on audience input and participation.<\/p>\n

Panel Session<\/strong> \u2013 A 45-minute, moderated discussion with two to four panelists, each offering a unique viewpoint or perspective on a topic or issue.<\/p>\n

Workshop<\/strong> \u2013 A three- or six-hour, hands-on session by one or more workshop leaders designed to provide attendees with a new skill or application of knowledge.<\/p>\n
