The TAIR Program Committee invites you to contribute to the advancement of Institutional Research and Effectiveness by submitting one or more proposals for the 2019 TAIR Annual Conference February 25-28, 2019 in Horseshoe Bay, TX. This year\u2019s conference theme is \u201cThe hills are alive with the sound of data!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proposal Submission Website:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.regonline.com\/tair2019cfp\">https:\/\/www.regonline.com\/tair2019cfp<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Proposal Submission Deadline:<\/strong> October 5, 2018<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are actively looking for presenters for the following tracks:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Operations &amp; Leadership &#8211; <\/strong>Focuses on the organization and management of IR offices and functions. Sample topics include tracking requests, organizing\/archiving past studies, staffing, resources, and relationships with other operational areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Plan &amp; Evaluate &#8211; <\/strong>Includes implementing assessment programs, goal setting\/measuring, novel assessment ideas, accreditation topics, and program review.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Collect, Analyze, Interpret &amp; Report &#8211; <\/strong>Emphasis is on tools, methods, and\/or sources used for internal\/external reporting, dashboards, and decision support systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stewards of Data &amp; Information &#8211; <\/strong>Deals with issues related to data accuracy, integrity, security, and institutional data strategy; data warehousing; decision support<\/p>\n<p><strong>Educate Information Producers, Users, &amp; Consumers- <\/strong>Demonstrates ways of training on the use of data and information to inform decision-making and includes discussion of way to collaborate with other stakeholder groups.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Current Issues &amp; Research in Higher Education &#8211; <\/strong>Provides details on contemporary topics and research within higher education.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Potential session formats include:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Speaker Session<\/strong> \u2013 A 45-minute presentation by one or more presenters allowing time for Q &amp; A<\/p>\n<p><strong>Discussion Session<\/strong> \u2013 A 45-minute, moderated session that focuses on audience input and participation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Panel Session<\/strong> \u2013 A 45-minute, moderated discussion among 2-4 panel members, each offering a unique viewpoint or perspective on a topic or issue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Poster Session<\/strong> \u2013A visual display of information on an issue or research study that will be available throughout the conference. Presenters will be available for questions during a 45-minute session in the conference schedule.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pre-Conference Workshop<\/strong> \u2013 Held prior to the start of the conference, a 3 (or 6) hour, hands-on session by 1 or more workshop leaders designed to provide attendees with a new skill and\/or application of knowledge.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Proposals are welcome from IR professionals at all levels of their career.
